About Department
Obstetrics is a branch of medical science deals with the care of a women during and after pregnancy and Gynaecology is a branch of a medical science deals with any abnormal condition concern with the genital tract of women and the hygiene of women.
Mission
- To impart comprehensive knowledge of gynaecology and obstetrics to BHMS students with emphasis on both preventive and curative aspects.
- To train students in clinical skills for diagnosing and managing women’s health conditions through homeopathy and allied measures.
- To promote awareness about reproductive health, safe motherhood, family planning, and preventive care among communities.
- To encourage research and evidence-based practice in the field of gynaecology and obstetrics within the homeopathic framework.
- To foster compassionate, ethical, and patient-centred care for women across all stages of life.
Vision
- To emerge as a centre of excellence in women’s healthcare through holistic management of gynaecological and obstetric conditions, integrating the principles of homeopathy with modern scientific knowledge, thereby ensuring safe motherhood,reproductive well-being, and improved quality of life for women.

Departmental Facilities
Facilities are arranged for theoretical and practical classes along with various models and charts. Therapeutic knowledge will be imparted in classes for various Gynaecological and Obstetrical conditions.
Facilities for clinical classes of OBS&GYNAE at Monark Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital is available.
Beds are available for the Department in college Hospital. Classes will be done on regular basis as per syllabus and curriculum of National commission for Homoeopathy (NCH).
