About Department
Organon of Medicine and Homoeopathic Philosophy is the bedrock of Homoeopathy as it contains the basic fundamentals for successfully practicing the Homoeopathic Art and Science for complete restoration of health. And it is taught in I, II, III and IV BHMS according to the syllabus directed by National Commission for Homoeopathy, New Delhi and CBDC Guidelines.
Special focus is emphasized in teaching Aphorisms of Organon along with Philosophy including Psychology.
Along with the theory classes the students also get special training in the practical and applied part of Organon including clinical sessions and case discussions.
The Department is well equipped with a Museum including portraits and charts.
The Department also has a separate well equipped library with all essential Source books and Reference books including journals and articles in it.
Seminars and Integrated sessions are conducted regularly to improve the Knowledge and Clinical Skills of students aiming at making them more professionally competent.
Mission
- To strengthen the philosophical foundation of Homoeopathy through systematic teaching of Organon and clinical application.
- To develop analytical thinking, case taking skills, and rational application of Homoeopathic principles in clinical practice.
